BATTERY OVERVIEW Modern survey instruments and systems are dependent on electronics. A reliable source of electrical power is essential for the smooth functioning of the instrument or system. The batteries available from Leica Geosystems are of the highest quality in respect of temperature tolerance, recharging capability, operating time and cycle behaviour. CHARGERS OVERVIEW Leica Geosystems currently provides quick chargers as a matter of preference. They ensure, thanks to the latest charging technology, appropriate charging and therefore, the long life of the batteries. CABLES OVERVIEW Most instruments have a data port for communication by cable. Connection to the external device can be made to a RS232 or USB port by using the appropriate cable. Cables provide extremely secure data transfer to and from the instrument. The highest specified wire and plugs are used which remain reliable even in extreme heat or cold.

The Leica Geosystems accessory program includes data transfer cables, power tension cables and antenna cables of the highest quality. For data transfer, Leica Geosystems offers serial and USB data cables. The data transfer over the cable from and to the instrument is therefore extremely reliable and secure, even in extreme heat, cold, snow and rain.
